Warehouse Facility in City of Markham

This project involves the development of a warehouse facility within a concurrently planned industrial subdivision in the City of Markham.

ZEL was retained to prepare the Functional Servicing and Stormwater Management Report in support of the Site Plan Application, in accordance with the design criteria established by the City of Markham and York Region.

• Analyzed projected water and wastewater demands to determine servicing requirements for the subject development.
• Implemented stormwater quality controls through on-site oil-grit separator installation.
• Applied quantity control measures, including LID strategies, to restrict post-development flows to the allowable release rate specified as per the subdivision design.
• Developed a site-specific water balance strategy using appropriate LID techniques to support infiltration.
