Storage Facility in City of Hamilton

This proposed development consists of a two-storey storage facility located in the City of Hamilton.

ZEL was retained to prepare the Functional Servicing and Stormwater Management Report in support of the Site Plan Application. All engineering design and analysis were completed in accordance with the City of Hamilton’s municipal servicing and stormwater management guidelines.

• Assessed water and wastewater demands and identified feasible servicing connections for water, sanitary, and storm systems using existing municipal infrastructure.
• Enhanced stormwater quality control through the implementation of infiltration-based Low Impact Development (LID) techniques.
• Applied quantity control measures using LID practices to restrict post-development peak flows to pre-development release rates, as per City of Hamilton requirements.
• Developed a water balance strategy tailored to the site's constraints to support groundwater recharge.
