Restaurant– Adaptive Reuse in City of Toronto

This project involves the conversion of an existing institutional building into a restaurant, located in the City of Toronto. The development reflects the growing trend of adaptive reuse in urban areas, contributing to more efficient land use and revitalization of existing building stock.

ZEL was retained to prepare the Functional Servicing and Stormwater Management Report in support of the Site Plan Application. All engineering design was carried out in accordance with the applicable servicing and stormwater management guidelines of the City of Toronto and Conservation Authority.

• Verified the capacity of existing municipal water and sewer services to support the proposed restaurant and accessory use.
• Assessed the site’s servicing requirements and confirmed compliance with applicable City standards.
• Evaluated stormwater management measures to ensure conformity with the City of Toronto and Conservation Authority guidelines.
