Restaurant–Adaptive Reuse in Municipality of Lambton Shores

This project involves the renovation and expansion of a vacant commercial building to accommodate a new restaurant in the Municipality of Lambton Shores. The development brings renewed economic activity to a previously underutilized site.

ZEL was retained to prepare the Functional Servicing and Stormwater Management Report in support of the Site Plan Application. All engineering design was carried out in accordance with the Municipality of Lambton Shores’ engineering design guidelines.

• Analyzed water and wastewater demand to determine appropriate connections to existing municipal infrastructure.
• Designed site servicing strategies for water, sanitary, and storm systems based on surrounding utility availability and site constraints.
• Implemented stormwater quality controls through on-site oil-grit separator installation.
• Applied quantity control measures to regulate post-development flows to pre-development levels, as per Municipality of Lambton Shores requirements.
